Gas tank housing material introduction

The gas storage tank is a kind of pressure vessel. The materials commonly used in the gas tank housing are mainly Q235-B (ordinary carbon structural steel); 16MnR (normal low alloy steel); 16MnDR (low temperature alloy steel).

According to the provisions of GB150 "Steel Pressure Vessel", different materials have different use states and temperature ranges.

Q235-B (general carbon structural steel material: the steel plate is used at a temperature of 0-350 ° C, and the use state is hot rolling;

16MnR (Ordinary Low Alloy Steel) Material: The steel plate is used at a temperature of -20-475 ° C.

16MnDR (low temperature alloy steel) material: steel plate use temperature -40-350 ° C, the use state is normalized.
